Today was the day, finally. Ryan needed this. After a bunch of shit that had been going on, he needed a day away from everything. Granted, Tony would be there, but he could deal with a little sexual frustration for one day. He just had to learn not to pay attention.

Ryan took a little draw string bag and packed the essentials: His keys, wallet, phone, cigarettes and lighter (fuck knows he can’t give that up), SPF 50 or he’d burn like a hell, a change of clothes and a little tin case of pills. Yeah, he was clean now, but he always had some with him, only in the case of an emergency.

The red head stood outside the dorms with the other red head - Annalie- and the adorable, goody, goody blonde - Maria. They were waiting for William to pick them up. Ryan had gotten the directions from Tony to this beach in Bumfuck Nowhere, New York, and gave the directions to William, hoping he’d get it right. Last thing he needed was to sit in a van for 3 hours going in circles. His ADD just wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Ryan was quiet for the most part as they waited, listening to Gerard Way screaming in one ear and  sounds of Annalie and Maria squeaking about how excited they were in the other - well more Maria than Annalie, but still, she was squeaky enough for both of them.

Maria was so excited, oh she was oh so very excited. It had been a while since she had gone to the beach- travelling there was always so expensive and took so much time, getting her siblings to behave well enough to go and to calm down for a long enough car ride to get over to the beach.

But- she was happy. She was going with her friends, with Annalie and with Ryan- who she had heard nice things about- with Tony, who she knew was nice, and- William. Well, she didn’t exactly know too much about him, other than he was the father to Charlotte’s child, but… she could hope he was nice.

“I’m so excited, Annie!” Maria chirped up, all smiles and sunshine, her arms up in the air as she twirled around in her one sandal, her other foot popped up behind her. Maria’s arms wrapped around Annalie and she beamed up at her best friend, “Are you excited? Oh, Annie- thank you for buying me the suit- you really didn’t have to, really not at all!” She craned her neck to look at Ryan and backed away from Annalie, scooting over towards the male, “You look glum,” she frowned, “Don’t look glum- perk up please? I bet your smile’s lovely…”
